About
Hi, I'm Missy Sterling, founder and director of Acre of Hope.
I'm an ordinary woman who has experienced God's extraordinary faithfulness. Like so many women, I've walked through life's joys, challenges, uncertainties, and seasons that stretched my faith. Through every step, God has continued to remind me that His presence brings peace, His grace is sufficient, and His hope never fails.
For many years, I have served others as a nurse, caring for people during some of life's most difficult moments. That calling to care for others has grown into an even deeper desire—to create a place where women can step away from the noise of everyday life and simply be with God.
Acre of Hope was born from that desire.
This ministry isn't about having all the answers or being perfect. It's about creating a welcoming place where women can rest, breathe deeply, pray, and experience the love and presence of Christ. My hope is that every woman who comes here feels seen, encouraged, and reminded that she is never alone.
As God continues to open new doors, I'm choosing to step forward in faith—even when I don't know exactly where He is leading. I believe He has placed this ministry on my heart for a reason, and I trust Him to guide every step.
Whether you're carrying burdens, searching for peace, or simply longing to spend time with God, my prayer is that Acre of Hope becomes a place where your heart is refreshed, your faith is strengthened, and your hope is renewed.

At Acre of Hope, our purpose is to come alongside women with the love, grace, and hope of Jesus Christ. We desire to provide a peaceful, Christ-centered place where women can step away from the demands of everyday life, lay down their burdens, and experience God's presence through prayer, quiet reflection, meaningful fellowship, and rest.
We believe every woman deserves to be seen, heard, encouraged, and reminded that she is deeply loved by God. Our hope is that each woman who comes to Acre of Hope will leave refreshed in body, renewed in spirit, strengthened in faith, and filled with the living hope found in Jesus Christ.
As women experience God's healing, peace, and unconditional love, they are empowered to flourish—not only in their own lives but also in the lives of others. Our prayer is that every woman who leaves Acre of Hope carries the hope of Christ into her home, her community, and her relationships, becoming a source of encouragement and compassion to those around her.
Our purpose is not only to see women rennewed by Christ, but to inspire them to return and help another woman flourish.

Our mission is to provide a welcoming, Christ-centered place of rest, renewal, and encouragement where women can step away from the demands of everyday life, lay down their burdens, and experience the peace and presence of God. Through prayer, reflection, meaningful fellowship, and biblical encouragement, we seek to refresh the body, renew the soul, strengthen faith, and inspire every woman to embrace the living hope found in Jesus Christ.
Vision
Our vision is to create a peaceful, Christ-centered retreat where women can step away from the demands of everyday life and experience God's presence. We desire to provide a place where every woman feels welcomed, encouraged, and renewed—finding rest for her soul, strength for her spirit, and hope for the journey ahead. Through faith, fellowship, and God's grace, we strive to create an environment where women leave refreshed, restored, and inspired to walk confidently in His purpose.
